7 Ways to Combat Writer's Block
Writer's block is something that every blogger has to deal with at one point or another. It is not uncommon to feel stressed when trying to come up with a new post within our time restraints. Here are some ways to get those creative juices flowing:
1) Breathe. Get that oxygen into your body by taking a deep breath, holding it in, and slowly exhaling. Do this 4-5 times.
2) Get active. Stand up, stretch, and take a short walk. Moving stimulates the mind.
3) Talk with a friend. Chatting with someone about a subject may inspire a work of genius.
4) Break down your article. Tackle the simplest parts first and work your way to the more complicated. Once you get started, the words should come.
5) Go somewhere else. Grab a pen and notebook and write in a place that inspires you.
6) Choose your keywords and write your article around them. A little SEO can go a long way.
7) Read. Find other articles similar to the one you're writing. Combine them, add your ideas, and write.
These are only seven ideas. Can you think of more?
