TypePad Users- Change the URL (Filename) of Your Posts

Typepad-logo-150x119 TypePad users will be happy to know that they can now change the URLs of their posts, rather than be stuck with a truncated version of the title of each post. There is now no need for the "save and rename" SEO method I came up with a while back.

Now, while in compose mode, you can enter the filename of your choice, as well as edit it later on. Both new and old post URLs can be changed.

TypePadDisplayOptions

If you do not already see the filename text field to the right of your post while in compose mode, simply click "Display Options" and check the box that says "Filename", and click OK. You should now be able to edit your URL.
